Lord Again

Verse 1:

I really don’t deserve to call myself your child,
After all the things I’ve done when I was running reckless, running wild.
When I called You came and changed my life, and now I’ll never be the same,
But still I fall away from You with no one but my foolish self to blame.

 Chorus:

I’ve sinned, Oh Lord.
Can’t look upon Your face because I’ve hurt You Lord.
I nailed You to the tree again, Oh Lord.
I want to call you Lord Again.

 Verse 2:

You tell us in Your holy book, that we are all Your flock.
And after all the things of hate we do, You still love and call us back.
You love us and You keep us ‘though sometimes our hearts may go astray,
But when we turn to look for You, we find that You were never far away.

 Chorus:

I’ve sinned, Oh Lord.
Can’t look upon Your face because I’ve hurt You Lord.
I nailed You to the tree again, Oh Lord.
I want to call you Lord Again.

Recitation:

You know, the Lord tells us that He will surly forgive us.
And when he forgives us he casts that into a sea of forgetfulness,
And he chooses to remember it no more.

Chorus:

I’m Yours, now Lord.
You smiled upon me with your grace, Oh Lord.
You died upon that tree for me, My Lord.
I’m glad to call you Lord Again….

Again….

Again….
